50% of our happiness is due to our genes, while 10% is due to our life circumstances, which leaves 40% up for grabs.

Through a combination of lecture, journaling exercises, meditation, and a physical yoga practice, we will examine what the philosophers and scientists say makes us happy. In each workshop, we will explore a different topic - including mindfulness, gratitude, social connection, and compassion - and target the strategies we can implement in our daily lives to harness the 40% of our own happiness that is within our control.

Please bring a journal and come prepared for yoga practice (i.e., wear comfortable clothing, bring a water bottle, bring a yoga mat if you have one).
